Initial Stages Theatre Company is a “one stop shop” for all areas of the performing arts. Young people learn drama, music, dance and stagecraft in one place and are taught by qualified, experienced and local teachers. Classes are held on a weekly on-going basis in Central Shepparton. As well as learning performance skills, students will also have regular opportunities to perform for audiences in a variety of settings.

August Workshop

Senior Workshop with Jenny Lovell from VCA on Saturday August 14th. 

Topics will include  

• Improvisation - Theatresports games structures/ using impro to create performance
• Audtioning for TV and Theatre; how to prepare, what is expected
• How to prepare/work on a monologue and then what to expect on the day
• How to maximise the impact in an audition/exam room.
